I’ve visited this cafe twice now and absolutely love it! The vibe is the best part. The cafe is decorated entirely with knickknacks and thrifted pieces, and the windows let in a lot of light. The service is decent, and there are food options ranging from snacks to full meals. Most recently, my partner and I ordered flat whites, a cheese/spinach scone, and a chicken/mushroom filo. The barista offered to toast the scone and add butter, which elevated it to delicious! The filo was also insanely yummy. We spent about $24. I’d highly recommend giving Preservatorium a try!

Their cannery breakfast is possibly the best big breakfast I've ever had. Great portion, beans are delicious, and really good sausages and bacon. Quite like the smoothie selection as well. They have a great atmosphere as well. Would highly recommend.

Cute cosy vibe, decor is nicely curated and not fake-quirky generic stuff. Food is good value, was surprised by prices compared to other cafes in the area. It was a pretty good brunch, I have an idea for you - the tomatoes that you're using for grilling are way too big, the result isn't very nice and it must hold things up for the kitchen staff waiting for them to cook. You could pre-roast them in a tray instead and reheat as required, or use smaller ones. They gave me SO MUCH salmon and the potato cakes were pretty good. Their website is nuts and has zero relevant info, 10/10

The breakfast resembled a classic English breakfast, and the mocha had no sugar residue, which was great. The host was lovely too. Overall, it was a perfect 10 out of 10 experience. And he was wearing a football shirt, so more, better

Eclectic atmosphere in this quiet hangout just beyond the central business district of Wellington. I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham. Very good but read the menu wrong and thought it came with hash browns. Instead the eggs are served ON hash browns instead of a crumpet or English muffin.

Very lovely cafe with retro decor and a relaxing environment. Flat white is smooth and strong and the brunch offerings are delicious. Highly recommended!

I live across the street and they are so friendly. I usually go a few times a week when I wake up to get a coffee but today I had the mushrooms on toast. One of the best things I’ve ever eaten!
